FWX Fall Series Masterclass Session with Saskia Nijs

WHEN: Monday, November 16, 11:30am-1:00 pm EDT / 5:30-7:00pm CEST
WHERE: Virtual
WHO: FutureWomenX Global Alumna and Special Guests

The future of work is not about work, but about our value and our human skills, collaboration, creativity, empathy and problem solving. We are in the fifth industrial revolution. Technology (data & AI) are beginning to take over our thinking and feelings which can interfere with actual behaviors. That is why this time is also called the Era of Ethics. The future of ethics is about us as human beings and also our interaction with technology. This new way of Ethical Thinking must go beyond knowing the ethical themes and dilemma’s, and requires courage, integrity and a curious attitude to ask critical questions. As FutureWomen, we can start courageous conversations and take the lead in this dialogue, by being and leaning into our FutureMaker qualities and female leadership. In this Masterclass, Saskia will take you on a journey on ethics in the digital age, why we all need to become experts on ethics and how female leaders play a crucial role. Together we will dive into the courageous conversations that we must spark.

Saskia Nijs has been a board member, advisor, researcher, writer and speaker on the future of work since 2003. The fact that 80% of the employees worldwide say that they are not engaged at their work and would do something different if they could has inspired Saskia to improve the human potential, inclusivity and 21st century skills in work and society by using technology as enabler. She has worked for companies as Microsoft, Philips and KLM and is also involved in several organizations as board member. Saskia is a long-time FWX Member having joined the NYC Expedition and Alumna Retreats.
